2021 National Biosecurity Forum

Starts:  Nov 10, 2021 09:00 (ET)
Ends:  Nov 11, 2021 16:00 (ET)
The annual National Biosecurity Forum brings together government, business and industry stakeholders to discuss the challenges, opportunities and innovative approaches to protecting Australia’s biosecurity system.

Australia continues to face increasing biosecurity challenges, such as growing trade volumes, increasingly complex supply chains and climate change and variability. These factors increase the risk of exotic pests and diseases entering the country.

The forum this year will focus on:
  • taking a future focus - a national biosecurity strategy
  • shared responsibility and partnerships
  • preparedness.
Hear about new programs and innovative approaches to managing the biosecurity challenges.

The 2021 Australian Biosecurity Award winners will also be announced as part of the forum.

This year’s forum will take place virtually on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 November 2021.
